The Eastern Styrian autumn pear (Hiaschtbirne or Hirschbirne) is a regional speciality. The ancient and large trees of the pear still characterize our landscape. In our orchards we cultivate this special fruit on spindle trees. The Hirschbirne (autum pear) is not particularly suitable for direct consumption, but has been producing excellent juices, jams and brandies for centuries. It is a rarity with an individual character.
Tasting notes: The Autum Pear Brandy has a very independent and intense aroma of caramelized dried pears, a sweet-bitterness and fresh hay. The Brandy has a melting rustic most pear taste, is strong and full-bodied. It has an eternally long and nuanced finish.
